5 WAYS TO AVOID LAPTOP OVERHEATING

You’ve probably heard by now about the B.C. man who passed away after a fire broke out in his home, caused by a laptop left on a couch. To reduce the odds of something like this happening in your home, take heed to these following safety tips.

If you like to use your laptop around the home, or know someone who does, there are a few safety measures you can take to ensure a safer computing experience:

1. A laptop can run hot under the hood, and that heat needs a place to escape. Never block the air vents on the back or sides of the portable computer. Those vents can become easily blocked if the laptop is kept on a soft surface, such as a bed, sofa, pillow or blanket. Always use your laptop on a hard, flat surface.

2. If you absolutely must use your laptop while reclining in bed or on a couch, there are some products that can help prevent the laptop from overheating. A Canadian invention called theLaptop Laidback, for example, is like a TV tray for your PC, with adjustable arms and legs to fit your position and body type. The Belkin CushTop is also designed to help you lounge with your laptop.

3. Occasionally, check out the laptop manufacturer’s website for potential battery recalls. In some cases you can sign up for email newsletters  for this information, but it’s always a good idea to drop onto the website from time to time, type in your model number, and check out any related news or updates available. Over the past few years, many of the big PC makers had battery recalls — including Sony, Dell, Lenovo, HP, Toshiba, Apple and others.

4. Enter your laptop’s power settings and have it set to go into sleep mode or power-down after a few minutes of inactivity. That way, those who like to bring their laptop to bed can reduce the odds of something happening should they fall asleep (better yet, place the laptop on your night table). Another tip is to use the laptop’s battery instead of AC power, as it’ll turn off eventually if left on accidentally.

5. Physically check out the laptop’s air vents — at least on a weekly basis — to ensure no dust or other debris isn’t blocking the ventilation. This is also a good idea on a desktop tower, too, as dust, pet hair and other junk could easily prevent good fan circulation (especially if left on a floor). You can also pick up those forced-air canisters to blow out debris from blocked air vents.

Wondering how to get a six pack? Well, you're not alone. Lots of people want great-looking ab muscles. Why shouldn't they: 'perfect' abs - the result of a lean, well-sculpted midsection - are the ultimate sign of peak fitness and outstanding sex-appeal for both men and women!

The problem is that, for most of us, it's just not that easy to get a six pack. Some people are born with naturally low body fat levels and great-looking, maintenance-free abdominal muscles. The rest of us have to work our butts off in order to achieve the same results.

The good news is that just about anyone who's willing to make the effort can get great abs -- often within just a few weeks (depending on your current bodyfat levels). In fact, if you're already working out, chances are that you've already got a six pack. It's just covered with a layer of fat!

How to Get a Six Pack in 3 Simple Steps

Most people who have great-looking abs follow a proven 3-pronged attack that just about always works. It doesn't involve any silly ab gadgets or magic fat loss supplements. It's also not necessarily 'easy' but it is extremely effective. Here are the 3 steps:

1. Shed bodyfat

If you want great-looking abs you have to get most of the extra fat off of your body. It's as simple as that. You may have the strongest, most well-sculpted ab muscles in the world. But if they're covered by a layer of blubber no one will ever know.

In order to really 'see' your abs you'll need to get your overall bodyfat levels down to about 7-8% (for men) or 13-14% (for women).

The most effective - and fastest way - to shed bodyfat is to eat a very 'clean' diet, strength train at least 3 times per week, and perform some type of cardio at least 4 times per week.

A 'clean' diet is one based around lean proteins, vegetables, legumes, some whole grains, some fruits, a little healthy fat and LOTS of water. All refined sugar and fried foods should be completely avoided.

2. Build strong abs

Here's a little secret: if you already work out with weights (especially if you perform full-body free-weight exercises like squats, deadlifts, pullups, powercleans, etc.) you probably have very good abdominal muscles! Most 'big' free-weight exercises require you to utilize 'stabilizer' muscles, many of which are in your lower back and abdominal region. In fact, many pro bodybuilders and fitness models do little or no ab-specific exercise because their abs do so much work just helping them lift heavy weights (or their own bodies) into the air.

But, since you want to learn how to get a six pack fast, you should probably be performing a good amount of ab-specific exercise. Forget about useless movements that target upper abs, lower abs, inner abs, outer abs, etc. You really only need to do 3 movements to work your entire ab region:

• The Bicycle Maneuver
• Hanging Leg Raises
• Forearm Plank

Of course normal crunches are great too but the bicycle maneuver incorporates the basic crunch movement and recruits even more abdominal muscles. Many fitness experts agree that the above are the best ab exercises -- both for creating nice-looking abs and also for developing functional core body strength.

3. Bring out the detail

Once you get your bodyfat down and your ab strength up, now you just need to make your abs more 'visible.' Lots of people actually have a six pack AND low bodyfat levels yet still don't have the typical 'washboard' stomach. Why? Because for very light-skinned people and people with lots of body hair, the details in their well-defined ab muscles are just too hard to see.

INTERNET PROTOCOL

Internet Protocol (IP) is the method or protocol by which data is sent from one computer to another on the Internet. Each computer (known as a host) on the Internet has at least one IP address that uniquely identifies it from all other computers on the Internet. 

When you send or receive data (for example, an e-mail note or a Web page), the message gets divided into little chunks called packets. Each of these packets contains both the sender's Internet address and the receiver's address. Any packet is sent first to a gateway computer that understands a small part of the Internet. The gateway computer reads the destination address and forwards the packet to an adjacent gateway that in turn reads the destination address and so forth across the Internet until one gateway recognizes the packet as belonging to a computer within its immediate neighborhood or domain. That gateway then forwards the packet directly to the computer whose address is specified.

Because a message is divided into a number of packets, each packet can, if necessary, be sent by a different route across the Internet. Packets can arrive in a different order than the order they were sent in. The Internet Protocol just delivers them. It's up to another protocol, the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) to put them back in the right order.

IP is a connectionless protocol, which means that there is no continuing connection between the end points that are communicating. Each packet that travels through the Internet is treated as an independent unit of data without any relation to any other unit of data. (The reason the packets do get put in the right order is because of TCP, the connection-oriented protocol that keeps track of the packet sequence in a message.) In the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) communication model, IP is in layer 3, the Networking Layer.

The most widely used version of IP today is Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4). However, IP Version 6 (IPv6) is also beginning to be supported. IPv6 provides for much longer addresses and therefore for the possibility of many more Internet users. IPv6 includes the capabilities of IPv4 and any server that can support IPv6 packets can also support IPv4 packets

TIPS FOR OILY SKIN !

Cleansing

Use any cleanser designed for oily skin that is in a gel or foam base and contains Salicylic Acid.  Stay away from cream cleansers - these can clog pores and add an oily film to your skin.  One of the hyped-up cleansers for oily skin is Cetaphil, which is far too creamy of a cleanser to effectively clean oily skin.  Sebum that settles into your pores needs a strong cleanser containing Salicylic Acid to actually dissolve oil. Some of the best cleansers to try are: Biore Ice Cleanser,  Proactive Renewing Cleanser, and Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Wash.When you cleanse your face, always splash with warm water first, then apply the cleanser in circular motions all around your face for about 1 minute. This allows the cleanser to work into your pores and dissolve oil.  Extremely oily skin types might find it helpful to allow the face wash to sit on the skin for an additional minute.  Rinse with very warm water and then dry vigorously with a fluffy towel.  Wash morning and night, or up to three times a day - but not more often.  Washing too much can aggravate and dehydrate skin, causing it to produce extra oil.  

Moisturizing

Contrary to popular belief, oily skin needs moisture to balance itself and slow oil production.  Skin that is stripped of its natural oil from harsh cleansers will often produce even MORE oil to compensate. Don't let that happen to you! For people with severely oily skin, Proactive Skin Care provides an excellent line of products that are suited toward oily and/or acne prone skin. Their Benzoyl Peroxide based Repairing Lotion is excellent for keeping breakouts at bay while providing just enough light-weight moisture.  They also make a product called Daily Oil Control which balances skin, helps prevent clogged pores, and prevents makeup from streaking.  For those of you who would prefer a moisturizer without acne fighting ingredients, consider one of these: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing GEL (Make sure you get the gel, not the lotion) and Clarins Ultra Matte Rebalancing Lotion.  Another great moisturizer for oily skin is MUAC's Aloe & Lavender Jelly. These are some of the best light-weight moisturizers for oily skin that work to balance the oil levels and PH of your skin.  

Foundation

always select an oil-free foundation makeup that states it is specifically suited for oily skin.  This is one area where you should not hesitate to splurge on a high quality brand.  It is very difficult to find a drug-store brand that is up to the task of absorbing facial oil. As a result, most are sticky or thick formulas that will "melt" off you skin within a matter of hours. If you must choose a drugstore brand, go with L'Oreal Infallible Liquid Foundation.  It stays on for around 6-8 hours and provides a reasonable amount of even coverage. One of the very best high-end brands of makeup for oily skin is Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup.  A pea-sized drop is enough for your entire face, and it stays flawless for an amazing 10-12 hours.   This foundation is so light-weight, it feels like you aren't even wearing makeup! The high pigmentation in the formula allows for superior coverage of flaws - most of the time you will not need to wear concealer on freckles, acne spots, or dark circles.  Simply apply with finger tips or a makeup sponge, for a flawlessly matte complexion.

Of course, don't forget to use Mattify! Loose Powder for Oily Skin as well.  This powder is designed especially for oily skin, to soak up oil all day long. Its ingredients absorb the oil to prevent your face from becoming shiny and sticky.  It can be applied both before and after foundation, or alone.  When used as a primer before foundation, it helps the makeup glide over pores for an air-brushed look, and adheres makeup to your face for longer wear, without clogging pores.Excessively oily skin may need touch-ups during the day.  Mattify Loose Powder can be applied several times without any cakey heavy feeling.  It disappears into the skin and silently absorbs oil without disturbing the rest of your makeup.

Setting Spray

To set your makeup in place for all day water-resistant wear, use a makeup setting spray.  Some of the best on the market are: Model in a Bottle, Colortration Setting Spray, and Ben Nye Setting Spray. These can only be purchased online, but are a very worthwhile investment. After all of your makeup is in place, simply hold the spray bottle about 8 inches away and spritz the center of your face a couple of times.  This forms an invisible barrier to prevent makeup from sliding off of oily skin.  Touchups can be done over the top of the setting spray throughout the day.  

Avoid these products at all costs if you have oily skin:

Silicone based gel primers

  Although many cosmetic websites and "beauty experts" may say these are suited to oily skin, they ARE NOT! This gel-like substance forms a thick slick greasy texture, and will cause foundation to adhere improperly to skin. The result is an shiny sticky mess and foundation that will streak and smear. The silicone gel also has a tendency to clog pores, as it settles inside of each pore and prevents them from getting oxygen; thereby trapping dirt and oil inside.

Setting powders, foundations & blushes that contain mica or pearl

  These ingredients are in many mineral makeups and setting powders, but their iridescent properties cause skin to look super shiny.  If you already have oily skin, this is definitely not your desired effect!  Save products containing these shimmery ingredients for your best features that you actually WANT to shine - your eyes and lips. 

Mineral Makeup Containing Mica, Bismuth or Pearl Powder.

Many beauty experts will tell you that mineral foundation is excellent for oily skin.  I'm not sure who came up with this theory, because Mineral Foundations are typically a nightmare for oily skin.  They have very little staying power, and only cake up as skin gets oilier throughout the day. This leads to irritation (not to mention a frighteningly blotchy face!) and the Bismuth in the product will cause your skin to itch.  This effect is slightly lessened when you apply Mattify! Loose Powder before the Minerals, but even then, your makeup will only last about 4-6 hours before becoming cakey. Mattify Cosmetics has recently created a Mineral Makeup without Bismuth, Mica and Pearl. It provides light coverage for blemishes, has a matte finish, and does not contain any irritating ingreditnes.

Heavy lotions or cosmetics that contain silicone gel, oil, or wax-based products. Lotions and primers which contain these ingredients will only make your oiliness worse, and lead to clogged pores.  Wax bases can be found in several cream eye shadow and blush formulas.  If you use these, you will most likely feel like your eye-lids and cheeks remain sticky all day long.  Oily skin is much better suited to powder eye shadow and blush.

For today i want to shared with you about how to get smoother skin like Korean. Main point of it is MASKER ! –mask muka.

Kadang kadang at home kita ada mase terbuang, let collect back the time try something new and good for us . Bukan with TIDUR, MAKAN and DATINg ! haha . Ok first start ur car engine and we go SHOPPING ! actually nowdays a lot of mask were sell at the cheaper price which affordable .. Ape kata we make it by ourself ? it just a basics ingredient u need to prepared . So lets take a look of this!

Ingredient :

·         Flour (basic flour, not baking or corn one!)

·         Honey

·         Lemon

Steps :

1.    Masuk kan 2 tablespoon of flour in a bowl.

2.    Put 2 teaspoon of honey.

3.    Perah the lemon inside the bowl.

4.    Stir it well.

5.    Use spatula (spoon) mask and sapu dekat muka .

6.    Wait for 25-30 minutes. Wash it .

Macam mana ? smooth right ? ada macam yoona girl generation? Or han ji min? Memang lah tak dapat lah kan ! if u buat more often, then u can get smoother skin like them!

EEEEWWWWW , It Oily !

Arigato Girls !

Masa sekolah menengah dulu mase nak up up (growing), don’t even care about skin care, Minyak? Jerawat? Kusam? Lantak lah anyone want talk about my face, diorang pun at the same boat! Then bile dah form 4 or 5 , starting babbling: eewww my face really oily, oh my prada! Pimples! Nah ! PADAN MUKA AWAK PUTRI ! that time baru sedar kenapa takde boyfren.. –act not b’coz of that . ayat dramatic-

Then baru sibuk nak cari product skincare. dulu tak tau nak choose, so mum choose it for me, and just refresh from my mind, first product i used is Sinar Sari . Wah muka nak beauty like Primadona dulu dulu.. KACAU ! haha .. maybe since in my mum’s belly i got this oily skin- my mum suke makan ayam goreng kot- . mengarot lagi putri ini!

Starting new life in college pun still tak hilang this oily skin, it just make me worry and decrease self confidence. I start find and try oily skin products. Alhamdullilah my skin is not sensitive one!i can try everything!  Malas nak list one by one products that i ever used .

So here my fauvorite products . I love NEUTROGENA oil-free moist! Yehaa!! It controll my skin from oily! It really work babes! I used it before make up and naked . –means not wear make up(own word) .;D before i starting bla bla bla more long than u imagine. Here we go to the beauty tips ! seum dwa !

Tips for oily-skin :

•        Use any kind of skincare or make up product which oily free .
•          Do not eat a lot of fried food –for ayam goreng lover
•          Do not touch ur oily face with ur dirth finger! Let Mr. Tissue do it for u .;D
•          Make oil controll film as ur BFF . wipe it when needed .
•          Wash ur face at least twice a day
•          Drink at least 7 glasses mineral water per day (this hard for me as mineral water hater)

Actually it more tips for oily skin type, but this is my secret beauty that i usually do for my oily skin .

Aiyoo darling if u can see the bacteria on ur face, mesti boleh sakit jantung tengok tauk! Face wash not only wash ur face, it also will halau any dust and bacteria on ur face. Ur face will become berkilau kilau macam iklan cuci pinggan glo- glowing..

Toner is optional, toner use for remove all the dirth and wont clog ur pores. Moisterizer also optional, it can moist ur dry skin and control oily which that oily can be a PIMPLES ! – dulu pun tak tahu,kena marah baru tahu.. ;D

Sunblock is important for Malaysian, panas yang menerik nerik can make our skin damage and sunblock also can prevent us from CANCER! Direct sunlight really harmful for us lagi lagi jam 12 till 6 pm.. Kalan nak tanning buat lah waktu tuh ye! Scrub is optional, scrub can remove the die cell and make our face smoother.. really.. try it!

It work for kakak, makcik, nenek and also abang abang!

Assalamualaikum.. hi everyone ! this is my first post ever at my own blog. –sebelum ni ada blog tapi cant remember the password ==” . It quite boring if bla bla bla panjang panjang so i just straight to the point ok babe ;D my name putri nur emylia, can call me putri, emylia, put put –famous as putri lah ... ahaha !
